Company and payments
SpareKilo Limited is being registered in Hong Kong. Airwallex is the selected payment processor. Payment availability and terms are shown within each enabled transaction.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using a transaction feature, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to enter the transaction, provide accurate information, and comply with the laws that apply to you, the item and the route.
2. What SpareKilo provides
SpareKilo is a marketplace that helps senders find travelers who choose to offer unused luggage capacity. Unless a specific feature says otherwise, SpareKilo is not the carrier, courier, airline, customs broker, employer or agent of either user.
Users decide whether to transact and remain responsible for evaluating the route, item, counterparty, timing and legal requirements.
3. Accounts and verification
Keep your sign-in methods and verification codes secure, and use only your own account. Verification, ratings and trust indicators reduce uncertainty but are not guarantees of identity, conduct, legality or successful delivery.
You are responsible for activity under your active session and must promptly sign out or email [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Listings, routes and items
- Provide truthful route, capacity, item, value, timing and contact information.
- Do not list, carry or request prohibited, dangerous, illegal, stolen, counterfeit, undeclared or improperly packaged items.
- Follow airline, airport, customs, sanctions, import, export, tax and local rules for the complete journey.
- Travelers may inspect an item and decline custody when the description, packaging or documentation does not match.
5. Communication and handoff
Keep transaction communication in SpareKilo where possible, treat other users respectfully, and do not use the service for harassment, discrimination, fraud, spam or attempts to bypass safety controls.
Follow the provided custody steps. Do not confirm pickup or delivery until the corresponding handoff actually occurs, and preserve relevant records when a dispute is open.
6. Bookings, payments and cancellations
Prices, fees, payment timing, cancellation terms and any protection conditions shown during an enabled booking form part of that transaction. A payment authorization or verification step does not make a prohibited item or unlawful route acceptable.
Do not move payment or required confirmations outside the supported flow to evade fees, records or safety controls. Refunds and releases remain subject to the transaction terms shown at booking and any active dispute.
7. Safety, enforcement and disputes
We may review reports, limit features, pause a transaction, preserve evidence, remove content, suspend an account or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service. We may ask for additional information before resolving a report.
Use the safety center promptly if an item, identity, payment or handoff does not match. Emergency situations should be reported to the appropriate local authority first.
8. Service and responsibility
Marketplace availability, matching and third-party travel depend on events SpareKilo does not control. We work to operate the service reliably, but routes, users, airlines, border decisions and handoffs can change or fail.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. Additional transaction-specific terms may apply when clearly presented before you commit.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as SpareKilo changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use transaction features after an update means the revised terms apply from their stated effective date.
For questions about these terms, email [email protected].
